The bed was delivered after a six month wait. Parts are missing. No mattress. It was supposed to be 4 inches longer but is 3 inches shorter. If the soldiers obey orders like the veterans administration takes care of the wounded, they would all be in the brig. I think they are just waiting for him to die. They are in for a surprise. We are too stubborn!!!

Yes, It is supposed to a better bed that fits him and the mattress is moves to prevent bed sores and fluid building up in his lungs. We have been trying to get it since March. We still don't have it. Ben asked me not to photograph him. He is in the other bed you can see at the bottom. The VA has been giving us the run-a-round for everything he has asked for. He is 100+ disabled due to injuries from VietNam. These injuries makes his illness that much worse because he was shot in the chest and the scar tissue causes him problems.
The woman in the photograph is Mary, Ben's wife. The man with his arms folded is Estil. I even had to tell them they were putting the rails on backward when I looked at the picture of the bed. Someone phoned today and said the mattress should be here Friday.
gosh, like its NOT ENOUGH WHAT HE'S GOING THROUGH...BLESS HIS HEART! PRAYERS FOR A SPEEDY BED & COMFORT FOR BEN!!
