We took Ben to the hospital yesterday. He had been having trouble with his trachea and feeding peg again.
This time he was admitted to ICU. Today they changed his trachea. It was a MUCH better experience because they numbed it and gave him a sedative.
The feeding peg was a little more involved but we hope it will be better too. He looks a lot better and he seems to breathing better too. The doctor wrote an order that some of the family could be with him all the time. That seemed to make things better as he is not able to speak or push any buttons to call for help if needed. He still has a lot of fluid on him that they are trying to get rid of. If all goes well he will be able to go home Monday or Tuesday.

Wow! It sounds like you had an exciting Friday. I'm glad he is feeling better and that they are working with him and his needs! I know that takes a load off Mary.
